Privacy notice

The short version: the course has no accounts. We never ask for your name or email, and we could not tell you who owns a given access code even if we wanted to. Payment happens at Paddle, and your payment details stay there.

Who is responsible

What we store

Our platform stores only what it needs to run the course, and none of it names a person:

Access codes, and whether each one is active.
Per-code course progress: which lessons a code completed and when, and the playback position.
Per-code quiz scores.
For purchases: the Paddle transaction id and the link between that transaction and the code it produced.
Anonymous usage counters that enforce the daily fair-use limits.

What Paddle handles

Paddle is the merchant of record for card purchases. Checkout, card data, your billing email, invoices, and VAT all live with Paddle, under Paddle's privacy policy. We never receive your name, email address, or payment details from Paddle.

Cookies and local storage

One essential session cookie after you enter your code, so the course remembers you on this browser. It is signed, holds no personal data, and expires after 30 days.
Local storage in your browser for things like playback position and page preferences. This never leaves your device.
No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no trackers.

Video delivery

Course videos are streamed by Mux, our video provider. Like any video service, Mux processes technical playback data (such as your IP address and connection quality) to deliver the stream. See Mux's privacy policy.

Server logs

Our servers keep standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Logs rotate and are deleted on a short schedule.

Reports for team purchases

Organizations that buy in bulk see anonymous progress per code in their batch. If the organization keeps its own list of which employee holds which code, that list exists only in their records, never in ours.

Your rights

EU data protection law gives you rights over personal data: access, correction, deletion, and others. Because our platform holds nothing that identifies you, most requests concern Paddle's records, and Paddle's privacy policy explains how to exercise them there.
